Hot Kor-thai-tnamese Soup...Home Made, and CHEAP |
|
Being the adventurous chef that I am, I sought to combine Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese tastes into one soup:
*Package of shrimp flavored Ramen Noodles...that's right...Ramen. (Oriental flavor works OK too) *Soy sauce - a few dashes...to your liking *Hot sesame wok oil, or Mongolian Fire Oil - a few dashes...don't over do this, or it will conquer your soup. *Crushed red pepper...however much you like...it's your toilet... *Cilantro (coriander) - FRESH; chop up 3-6 sprigs...I use 8. *1/4 lime wedge squeezed in, or a little lemon juice.
Add water, throw in the microwave.
While it's cooking, chop up a green onion, then toss it in when it's done; then you can add more soy sauce if you like.
*As if that won't set your mouth, esophagus, stomach, and butt on fire...usually in that order, you can add a little hot chili sauce to it...gotta stir that in well though, or it'll be waiting for you at the bottom...and I don't have to tell you what that means.
I promise you it's an orgiastic feast. After you consume this, brush your teeth a few times, or no one will want to be your friend.
Also, wait at least an hour before you and your partner...uhhmmm...well, don't eat this if you plan to get any. (Yes there's a story. No, you can't hear it.)

I do it all the time - great dumping pot for those little bits of leftovers that don't make up a whole serving.
