I walked the dog in the yard. Visited Kobe Cat's grave. Walked back up to the door and IT IS LOCKED!:wow:
We have one of those doorknobs that stays locked on the outside unless you manually unlock it. I thought I had:shrug:
Mr MB is across the state on business. Little MB is with her dad tonight. Malta MOM left for Scotland this morning:bounce: - It is just the Luna dog and me.
I called Mr. MB - he just keeps talking about that key we were SUPPOSED to hide - too late for that DH.
I spy the bathroom window open. I tied the dog to the deck, stacked some patio furniture and fight with screen. I managed to get the screen out and cranked the window wide enough (hopefully, I thought) for me to fit. I actually made it! I came in through the bathroom window:bounce:
Phew - I need a drink now....
How was your day?:hi:

I think Kobe helped you get back in the house! Thank God my day was quite dull in comparison.

I had such a nice visit with my Kobe Cat this afternoon. For once, the mosquitos were not out yet and the sunlight was peeking through the oak tree onto the grass.
I have been looking forward to this evening for a week. I can't believe I got locked out, but I am so glad that I was able to solve the problem without a locksmith. Sitting ouside until one showed up would have really been a bummer.

Wow, now there's an adventure in living for you!
New houses take all sorts of getting used to, don't they?
You might want to carry a housekey with you all the time, instead of hiding one...
My day has been very quiet!
Got up late, breakfast, shower, dress, out to lunch, DU.......
Pretty soon (or as soon as I can peel myself away from DU, lol) I need to shop for dinner...
Glad you were able to get back in, sweetie!

5. It sure was a mini adventure - one to call a friend about later, I'm sure... |

I would have never thought to bring the key with me to the backyard. And I really do usually check that darned doorknob before I step out because the first day we moved in, that happened, but the house was full of people so it wasn't a problem at all.
My heart did skip a beat when I realized it was locked and I was all alone.
I am looking forward to an obscenely dull evening from now on!:P

I kept singing that as I was doing it!:yourock:
I am not that fond of heights, and the chairs I stacked weren't really steady. I had three cortisone shots in my left foot today and it is still a little numb.
I was just singing at the top of my lungs to avoid thinking about the shaky chairs.
