Thanks for asking. My brother has been gravely ill for quite awhile - life and death kind of stuff - so I've been off dealing with that and not hanging around here as much.=]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ <--- (Kitty says "hello.") At the moment brother is stable, so my friends and TPM took me out over the weekend to destress a bit, thus the Balderdash coup d'état after a fabulous group effort, kitchen-frenzy home-cooked meal event at the host's house. Other than that, just general work and family stuff.

What's new with you? I've missed your photo threads - you do beautiful work and have an excellent eye for composition. Do you have any new photo threads up?

I do love your work, all very nice images and really, some of those bird shots belong in a wildlife magazine. You must be an incredibly patient person.

I liked the Roseate Spoonbill's lovely and delicate palette and thought you made good use of the lighting and composition in drawing those colors out, but I especially liked the Gull series and the Pelicans because you caught them being so expressive with their body language that it made me laugh. Well, Pelicans are just funny birds anyway. With such unwieldy proportions they pretty much can't do anything and maintain any semblance of dignity about it.

I also liked the Smug Cardinal and the juvenile Killdeer running wild in the sand, again because of the character your pics allow them to portray. Much more fun to look at than the standard encyclopedia shots.
