Ok, I'm a closet communist classist hate the rich people person but fuck this. What's TRULY sad? Parents who have to work extra jobs so that the electricity doesn't get shut off. Nobody is holding a gun to these men's heads and making them neglect their children. I'm so sick of hearing how "hard" it is to be famous or rich or whatever. Bullshit.

I'm so sick and tired of the inequity in America. Are these guys working any harder than someone who works in a foundry for just over minimum wage? I don't fucking think so. I'm sick of all the worship they get. The every day people who manage to run a house, raise a kid, work a job or two to make ends meet -- those are the heroes. How the hell have we forgotten that?

In the current Lounge thread by yurBud, "post your pic and we'll tell you who you look like", I note that the majority of DUers have more soul and gravity in their eyes than do the "stars".

I respect some of the successful for their hard work and skills, but we're all pretty equal when it comes to "how to live life". Struggle builds character.
