You're sitting on the beach listening to your I-Pod. What's playing? I'm putting together a playlist for a lazy day at the beach and here's what I have so far:
Jimmy Buffett, of course Bob Marley, of course Kenny Chesney Be As You Are Beach Boys Pet Sounds
A smattering of songs of by Taj Mahal (including a great cover of Marley's Slave Driver), The Dirt Band, Steve Goodman, Leon Russell, and more. I'm also toying with including Ramones Surfing Bird and Rockaway Beach but the playlist is pretty laid back and they may not fit the mood.
Any suggestions?
Also, why can't I find any songs about the ocean or the beach or margaritas by women? Are they not drawn to the the beach like guys are? Just wondering...

Rome would be a good one. Thanks for the tip.
I've been thinking of women who have beach/ocean themed songs and I'm coming up blank as well. Maybe they just aren't drawn to it like guys are.
