1. He's gonna love prison. |
|
Anybody else read the indictment? Apparently he personally killed dogs that lost fights. Got one wet and electrocuted it. :wtf:
He's in so much shit it's not even funny. Turns out one of his contacts at a competing kennel with whom he arranged fights and large cash purses is a cooperating witness. Whoops!

11. It would be so sweet to see him go to prison. |
|
However, he can afford the best lawyers money can buy. I doubt he'll get jail, probably just probation, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

that's what Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling, Bernie Ebbers, Scooter Libby, Conrad Black and many others thought. When the Feds want you, and they obviously think they can get Vick, they usually do. There's a reason the Federal conviction rate is over 95%. This isn't some bumpkin DA like that joker in Durham. Apparently there are four witnesses against hims already, you don't think the other three are seriously thinking about turning on Vick as well?
Time to start talking deal, Senor Mexico.

4. I used to love watching him play |
|
he was the only player I would tune it to watch just for that one individual's play. I can't do that anymore. He is forever tainted and should probably go to jail.
I heard about this before it broke nationally as my buddies and I went golfing back at the beginning of May. Vick is from the same area and through work connections and football fans my friends know some people who know some people etc. They knew all about his "former house" being raided in Smithfield and it didn't look good. He trail is all over this.
Vick apparently was a major player on the east coast is this horrible business.

They will keep him around hell or highwater as long as he wins or at least gets ratings.
God he was just fantastic to watch. You had no idea what was about to happen. Just sad.
I also expect a whole counter thing with him too. Not only does he become an actual THUG for marketing purposes all the wannabes (white boys and pitbull studded collar types)are going to love him for this.

Most think Atlanta should "find a way" to support him because "Atlanta loves him." ""

6. Oh and let me add this about Home Depot |
|
the CEO of Home Depot bought the Falcons a few years ago and did some really cool things to garner interest in Atlanta (corporate world). Reduced prices and players going out to stripmalls and grocery stores to shake hands etc.
Well not only is PETA (I am not a supporter) which just happens to be HQ'ed in Norfolk going after HD for not firing Vick---Moveon is going after HD for advertising on Fox while claiming to be "going green"
Trouble ahead for HD.

13. The raid you mention was on the news. He denied knowing anything about what was going on there. |
|
And one of his teammates defended him saying whatever Vick wants to do on his property with his dogs is his business.

17. Of course he denied it |
|
and it wasn't his teammate it was Clinton Portis of the Washington Redskins and Portis was soundly shouted down for saying something so stupid. The Skins issued an apology as quickly as they could type one up.

He's still an asshole, too. He might have delivered an apology but I doubt it was sincere.

At least football players are there voluntarily. Anyone who does this shit to animals deserves a slow and very painful fate. What a fucking piece of shit.
