Global Cat Culture... (What ethnic background is your feline?)

Sounds like a strange questions, but having lived in the UAE going on 5 years now and being a cat lover in the States and here, there are very REAL differences between cats in different countries.

I think the mixed breeds here are much closer to their feral cousins... sometimes with perhaps mixed sand cat genes in the mix.

UAE cats are:

1. especially wild
2. especially territorial (to the point of murder)
3. More loyal than your typical American Cat (my first cat here would fetch! American tabbies don't usually play those sorts of acitivities)
4. Physically tend to be long and thin (think Egyptian look).

Anyone else ever notice differences in their foreign kitties?
