What is the Cable TV Company for Dade County, FL?
Edited on Sun Aug-03-03 11:09 PM by jiacinto
I am moving there and would like to know who the cable company for that area is.

I have DIRECTV now, but live in an apartment complex. I want to keep my service, but I am not sure it will work because I think I need to put a satellite dish on top of the place I am moving to. And I don't think that the landlord would allow me to do that.

I am moving to a fourplex owned by a lady in FL and she doesn't know the name of the local cable company.

I live in Palm Beach county which is about an hour north. I think it's either Comcast or Adelphia.

On edit: My first guess is Comcast. I think that's what they use in Broward county anyway. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

2. If you have the space...
I *think* you can put a dish behind a window that points westward.

4. I believe that the law states...
That landlords must allow you to mount a dish and run a wire.

6. My son lives in an apartment and
gets DirecTV from his own antenna. If you get an apartment that has a balcony facing south you can put a dish out there. My son attached his to an old piece of furniture. Of course, you have to be careful not to move it. The cable company "might" be Adelphia, but I'm not certain.
