I had a client to my house last night for some video editing.
The bastard ate an entire LARGE bag of Doritos Spicy Nachos. All by himself.

Of course, you realize this means war.*

1. You probably have a too-comfortable client couch.
Make them sit on a kitchen chair. Then they won't be so cavalier with your snacks!

Doesn't matter. This is the same kind of guy who doesn't take a hint that I have other clients in the morning and I need SLEEP. He's been known to stay here until 3am. I'm on the verge of telling him to find someone else to do what he needs done.

NOT that I'm complaining....

5. Bill extra after midnight, like a babysitter.
The main thing is to say "Sorry, dude, that's it for tonight. Got an early morning." Then shut down your computer. After that, if you have to, feign narcolepsy.

7. I NEVER partake while on the job.
I never get enough to share, for one thing. Besides, it's simply bad form to scarf down all the munchies in someone else's home. I also just discovered he finished off my trail mix. Now THAT is just plain vicious.
