Even in their absence, my kids won't let me relax.

I fell asleep (face down :crazy: ) on my bed this afternoon, while my kids were off with my mom.

I woke up, flew off the bed, and ran into the living room in a panic, wondering where my kids were and imagining the worst, since it was quiet. :rofl:

I couldn't remember what day of the week it was, and where everyone had gone, for a few seconds.

I totally could have napped for another half hour, if I weren't insane and perpetually disoriented.

1. Yep -- I've had those Oh My God Where Are My Kids? panics

Even when they're in the middle of their school day, sometimes, I'll get a split second flood of fear that I've left them somewhere and forgotten to get them ...

Parenthood makes us slightly insane, I do believe. :D
