I'm writing a book about an American boy who goes to magic school. His name will be "Larry Cotter."
The school will be located in the mysterious Appalachian Mountains and will be named "Pigpimples."

He'll have a lot of friends and adventures. I'm thinking of writing seven books total.

Who wants to invest in this undertaking?

4. Fantastic! Please send your investment made out to "cash" to:
Sensational Larry Cotter Book
c/o Brooklyn Bridge Publishers
New York, NY

In the meantime, I'll get started on the writing...hmmm, I'm thinking a barn owl brings this note to Larry's house...

2. I'm writing a book called the Bibble.
It's about this guy named Spod, who makes stuff and then burns it up.

3. I've been thinking of radio, myself.
I have an idea for a newscast- you can get the gist of the format from the title I thought up. I call it "Nothing Considered".

I'm thinking NPR. IMO it'll be a winner.

5. NPR would be a good choice...
They have experience with your proposed format. At least 7 years worth...

8. I'm already working on LARRY POTASH AND THE SORCERER, STONED
Think Harry Potter infused with a lot of mindless drug humor. I'm really excited about this.

10. After you inhale the fumes from Larry's "wand," you won't care...
Right now, I'm working on the scene where Larry and Zezozoze Zadfrack Supergrass point their "wands" at each other in the graveyard.

To inspire myself, I'm playing Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida through a pitch phaser turned all the way up and burning a lot of myrrh. ginbarn's giving me some really funny looks.

12. I think you may be on to something there...One suggestion, though...

Something a little catchier for the school name. Three syllables? Too much for the audience. Two syllables is just right. Something along the lines of.....how's this for a name...Bogports!

17. His two best friends are Jon and Germione...
...but Germione has to drop out in third year with a baby. The dad's either Fagrid (who is half gay), Crepe (whose hobby is brewing up fancy pancake fillers in his love dungeon), or Stumblebore (the old Dead-head who smokes too much weed and can hardly get a coherent word out).

But Jon thinks it's his. :D
