Wow....it's amazing when old friends re-appear...

I just got a friend request on MySpace from an old friend from high school. That in and of itself isn't odd, but this girl was someone I'd always assumed had ended up dead in an alley somewhere. She was a trainwreck on two legs, hard living and insane. We lost touch after she got kicked out of our boarding school. And now, I see that she's married, has a beeyooteeful baby boy, and is a college graduate! I am SO happy for her, and so happy that she found me!! And she doesn't live that far from me! w00t!

I had some friends "find me" a few years back. One was my closest friend since I was 8 (her parents even adopted me for a short time) and hadn't spoken to her in many moons. Going to have a drink next week with a friend I haven't seen in about 12 years. Should be fun.
