I've been convinced to get a third cat.
Edited on Fri Jul-20-07 10:30 AM by crim son
She's eleven years old, black, incredibly fat, and her name is "Brenda." The's a Humane Society featured cat and my daughter has decided that Brenda is necessary to help her deal with her parents' divorce. :eyes: Not only will I have three cats but one of them will be named Brenda. Sigh.

Actually, I'm very pleased. She'll require a chair of her own and I already love her. We pick her up at noon! :woohoo:

I've been assured that she gets along very well with other cats and I do hope so, because Maximouse and BenBen barely tolerate one another as it is.

Here's Brenda's rap sheet (note... I don't know what kind of photoshopping they did here... she's twice the size of the cat in the picture )

10. I really can't
My apartment is too small for a 4th cat. And so is my bank account. It wouldn't be fair to any of them to take Templeton.

The irony is that I grew up in a town called Templeton.

7. I'll let you know.
She's an indoor cat while the others are outdoor cats. That might be a good thing.

8. That did factor in to our decision.
She'd already been adopted and then rejected because she didn't get along with the new owner's dogs (no shit, sherlock). Thanks!

12. I am so glad you have decided to get another fur baby
Until last October 13 (a Friday) I had three but Little man Binx ( the grey kittie in the picture) Passed away at the ripe age of 13.

A little over a year ago I adopted Picasso, The Fat Man

He boxes, talks till you have to give him something to occupy him, and has become my Bud. He has taken over half of my desk and watches patiently as imagoes dance across the monitor.

I will soon get another furbaby to fill the void. I'm getting over the loss of Binx, and like you, I KNOW a cat house is a happy house!   :hi:

14. We have been feeding a cat on our patio for a few days ...
... and figure it either is lost, or belonged to a neighbor who died, or is otherwise abandoned. She's a skinny little girl, perhaps a year old. Mostly black and brown, in patches. Our dog like her (he's good with cats), and our other two cats did not react badly when I let them smell her scent on my hand. What to do, what to do? We have always had good luck with "found" cats ...

I'm so glad there's someone out there who's willing to adopt a fat, 11 year-old cat. It gives me the warm fuzzies. O8)

21. I'm up to four
I had two for eight years and thought that was enough. Two more needed homes this year, and I couldn't say no, so they are now part of the family. This really is the limit, I can't afford any more! I love them all dearly though.
