1. Tomato Juice gets skunk smell out of animals....
...go to your local pet store and buy the enzyme carpet spray. Works like a charm. Basically it's enzymes that eat the pee

Something like Nature's Miracle. Make sure you get it all the way down to the pad in order to be sure.

8. Even then it is not a sure thing
Having expierance trying to get my fiancee's cat smell out of the carpets it is very difficult to get it all out. You can even mix it with a carpet cleaner and still not have any luck.
