1. It is a college town -- UNC Chapel Hill.
Liberal, progressive, beautiful, expensive.

4. Durham (its neighbor 15 minutes away) is very blue too
and it is home to Duke University. I live in Durham.

Also, Carrboro is a small city next door to Chapel Hill and is probably the most liberal of them all--some call it "The People's Republic of Carrboro." (jokingly)

Durham--Chapel Hill--Carrboro make a very blue area in a sea of red.

college town, research triangle, good hospitals and excellent basketball;)
