Ode to Sweetie (DU name Gizmonic).

My Sweetie is the very best person I know. She is always on my side.

She is surpassingly lovely with big, blue eyes; fluffy, delightful hair and a balcony from which one could read Shakespeare.

Sweetie is compassionate and caring for all people and critters, especially me. When I lived in Toledo for two years, she drove two hours each way almost every weekend to see me, and I wasn't always the best company. She paid for my dentistry before I was insured.

Sweetie knits me stuff like a Jaques Cousteau hat and takes care of me when I'm sick. She loves rabbits and gardening. She likes making things with her hands. Her projects become conquests in the end. We watch Family Guy and Mystery Science Theater and laugh at their twisted humor.

Sweetie takes no shit. She knows when something is false. She is a genuine patriot too, becoming a citizen in 1995 so she could vote for Bill Clinton.

We have been a couple since 1992 and married since 2000 and I could not possibly have found a better life partner.
