11. Apartment Flooded, Root Canal, Kidney Infection ... All In One Week

After moving all my things out of my place (and staying up for 36 hours) I moved into a hotel for a week with the cats. Then I had to move me and the cats back in. By then I was sick enough I was walking into walls, and the cats are still nervous wrecks. So I'd say I'm about an 11 and the cats are about 1000.

Traveling at work and just came off another stressful week at work (doing about 1 month of work in 3 days)...not to mention that I knew this job would be like this when I took it a couple of months ago and discussed with my wife (who apparently at the time had already decided she wanted a divorce but hadn't told me) that I could only take the job if she understood the stress level involved and would help by continuing to work on our home life...you know I asked for unreasonable things like a 'family dinner' every weekend (or at least every weekend possible, make it a priority but we wouldn't have to say no to other plans all the time)...and instead of coming clean with me about what she had decided she promised she would support me and assured me she wanted the same thing.

And a million other things...as I sit here alone, bored and depressed.

19. Apparently stress causes weight gain. If that is so, I am very stressed, since I have

gained 20 lbs in the past 6 years. GD bu$hco! :grr: I was thinner and happier during the Clinton years.

Moms' are not doing well. One has dementia, the other is bankrupt.

What can I say, its an incredibly stressful time in my life with not a lot of people to talk to about it. I dread my job (although I'm applying for another one that looks promising), I found out yesterday I might be getting screwed on my student loans, I got classes starting soon, and I got a surgery comming up thats gonna probably hurt like hell.

Other than that life is peachy :evilgrin: for the first time in a long time I'm single and perfectly content with it...for now anyway.
