Question: There is a bathroom in the hallway at work: a couple different offices use it
even though we every office has its own bathrooms.

(i mean if the bathroom in our office is busy, we can use the one in the hallway)

well there is a message to not turn off the lights in the bathroom ever.

is there any good reason for this?

(the message says light and fan, but the ventilator broke a while ago and hasnt been fixed)

the reason i ask, is that i turn off the lights, but could there be a reason to have that message up?

1. Yes. If you turn off the lights, ...
then nobody will be able to read that sign.

2. Liability?
If someone wanders into the bathroom and the light is off and they slip and fall and die?

Or they hate America?

5. Safety concerns?
Would you be able to exit the bathroom quickly if someone suspicious was in there? Can you see the whole bathroom with the light on? From my experience with bathrooms in the common areas, there have been a few incidents from someone passed out drunk to somebody doing their monthly laundry in the sinks. With others they have been attacked for sex or money.

9. Well missy, you can't follow directions
if they said to leave them on, I would've left them on...I know not good for the environment but I guess they have a reason as to why they want them on. I would've listend to them and kept them on.

Bad girl. :spank:
