Crows/ravens: The bullies of the bird world?
Edited on Fri Jul-20-07 04:52 PM by brentspeak
In my yard, I notice that most of the various birds get along pretty well. Blue jays, cardinals, wrens, sparrows, blue birds, etc. -- they all go along their business, sit together on the same tree limbs, and even occasionally chirp to one another, talking about whatever it is birds like to talk about.

That all changes, however, once a pack of crows show up on the scene. These guys descend on the back yard like the Borg, scaring all the other birds away, and keeping them away until they're finished scavenging.

Ravens, it appears, are the Hell's Angels of the bird world.
