So, tell us, other than the lounge, which forums do you hang out in? What are your pet issues?

That should get a conversation going that will get you to 10,000. :)

8. I don't frequent the Lounge much any more.

When I do I usually piss someone off.

But people here don't piss me off.

A lot of people on GD piss me off, so I put them on "ignore".

I mostly spend time checking out the Home Page, and LBN, and occasionally some music or scientific forum.

Somehow, I've managed to only have 4 people in GD on ignore. Ever. As much as I like to argue with people, that's amazing.

16. I don't really like to "argue" with people - but I get argued with,

and often from people who just seem to like to argue for argument's sake - or just to flame away. I just find that so tiresome I have almost 30 people like that on "ignore". The fact is, though, most of them are DLC groupies - who attack us progressives in swarms whenever we post anything about Hillary or Lieberman, etc.

I recently said something about information provided by my son's pediatrician in a thread about vegetarian diets that pissed off a swarm of Vegans (they came out in droves).

18. Well, that thread has since faded from my "My DU" listings.

I don't know what I was thinking - I should have just kept my big trap shut. Occasionally I've behaved badly in the Lounge over the years, a fact I'm not proud of.

on one of my soap-box issues. So chances are you're generally very nice.

Besides, that's in GD. People get a bit of a pass, and a forgive and forget attitude, when we're all here in the lounge.

15. My wife's cousin brought back some choclate cake thingy...

while they were out at Barnse & Noble getting my wife's ticket for the head of the line to buy the latest Harry Potter book at midnight tonight. They'll leave about 10 pm (PDST) for the event while I get to stay home with our 2 year old (who will hopefully be asleep by then).

26. Thanks to all who posted here for helping me to reach 10,000 posts while I

was actually aware of how close I was. I usually don't pay much attention to things like that.
