Is anyone interested in reading about my dogs?
They each won a ribbon in competition today! How cool is that!

3. Oh... that was it!
 They compete in agility trials.

The younger one (she's 3) took her first ribbon, and it was only her third competition. The older one (age 5) finished his third leg, so he got an extra fancy ribbon and he'll get a bunch of letters after his name. He moves up to a more difficult class now.

I was amazed that the younger dog did so well because she is a real airhead sometimes! It's really fun when they win!

8. Thanks!
I just took a video at the trial. I'll take some stills of them with their ribbons and post them. There was no photographer (grr) in the ring today, of all days.

The male had a terrific time, like 26 seconds, and took first place. He's always really fast. The female just made her time by 2 seconds, and took third place. Since it was only her third time to compete, we were amazed. She'll get better.

I'm just so proud of them! :bounce:

I'll be checking back. Welsh Corgis, I presume? Or is your avatar misleading?

15. I saw a Corgi competing
on Animal Planet a couple of weeks ago. I forget what the event was, I know it wasn't flyball. They were jumping hurdles and running through tubes and things. The Corgi looked like he was holding his own. :) I didn't get to see how it turned out.

10. If they won ribbons at a Science Fair or Spelling Bee that would...
...be Super Cool, but accomplishments of any kind are worth a "way to go!"

19. Congratulations!
What fun! My male Boxer would have adored agility - he was one of those dogs that loved games with rules (unlike his mother who would interfere with our games of fetch by grabbing the tennis ball and taking it away simply to tease him - she was evil but wonderful). I just didn't discover it in time to get him involved.
