5. I liked Nicholson, but voted for Byrne.
he is so damn handsome!

And I loove Johnny Depp, but haven't seen The Ninth Gate all the way thru, had no idea he played the devil in it, too. Hmm. I read the book it was based on "The Club Dumas" by Arturo Perez Reverte and I know the movie was supposed to be just tangentially related.

6. He was a devil that had to be shown the way
to being a devil.

:D

Some folks don't like the movie, but I thought it was interesting.

7. Whoa . . . I either never made it to the end of the movie, or I didn't get it.
I'll have to rent it.

Also, I've never watched Legend as I have an intense aversion to anything with Tom Cruise in it. Tim Curry cancels out my Tom Cruise aversion, though. I LURVE Tim Curry.

13. I lurve him too.
I was watching "Legend" last night, so I started the poll. He has the sexiest voice, speaking and singing, ever. I imagine sitting for all that makeup had to be tedious, but the results are amazing.

:loveya:

Funny that three of my favorite actors have played the devil. I love Depp, Nicholson and Pacino as well.

Tom Cruise was pretty "meh" in the movie. The best roles he had were in Vanilla Sky and Interview with the Vampire, they sort of broke out of his usual mode.

As for 9th Gate, the film has a different pacing to it, but I found it pretty interesting, and the ending is a necessity.

:D
