It gets past the point of worrying about their well being! I worry about others on the road. I want your ass to get pulled over with a DUI!! You deserve it.
Sorry, I am ranting about my uncle! I did everything humanly possible to keep his drunk ass from driving home. Why oh why (especially after my brother, his nephew, died while drinking and driving) do some people still do this STUPID shit????????

He was going to spend the night at my place but got the urge to drive to his girlfriends house. He was wasted, I tried to stop him, I called the cops, he got a DUI. He hasn't driven drunk since. (that I know of)
I never told him that I had called the cops on him. That might piss him off.

If he is in the military I wouldn't call the cops on him. Maybe find a friend of his that is also in the military to talk to him.
To be perfectly honest, I'm the family drunk. The intervention shit rarely works. It justifies the drinking. "Can you believe I have to put up with this shit, I need a drink." Been there, done that.
Luckily I don't drive, have kids, or wife.

Sorry.
Never again though. I didn't kill anyone, or get in any accidents, or even get pulled over. It's not about that, anyway.
On a sidenote, the best driving I've ever done in my life was while I was high and mostly drunk. There were witnesses in the car, saying "holy fucking shit, how the fuck did you do that", but it wasn't me at the wheel. It was my driving angel, Becca. (long story I'm not going to get into)
