Poll question: what is massachusetts' state sport?
yes, basketbaLL was voted the state sport, but i'm sure most masshoLes wouLd disagree... i'm sure most non-masshoLes wouLd disagree too.

so, what's your vote for the sport of masshoLes?

ps: masshoLes/former masshoLes' responses carry more weight.

Not necessarily drunk. I say that as a former offensive Rhode Islander driver. Only Massachusettes is worse than RI.

8. I'm thinking more in terms of the sport more of the guys grow up playing...
...and they've all been INSANE street and local league hockey players (the ones I know, anyway). Hopefully, the Bruins will get back to the past greatness one of these days.

6. baseball - the Sox. easing out the Patriots
although soccer and lacrosse are getting more popular with high school students.

I loves me some Boston Canons (Pro- lacrosse)action myself- lotsa fun.

DEFINATELY BASEBALL tho because Pittsfield MA is the actual origin of the sport of baseball - so we gotta go with that. In 1792 historically documented earliest refernce to the game of baseball in the whole country.

so there Cooperstown!
