It's a wonderfully dreary rainy day, so I'm going back to reading Potter in front of the fireplace |
|
with a little glass of Scotch on the side.
Cheerio!
Accio Laphroig!!

6. Yes, indeedy! The weather is cooler, too, so no need for the air conditioning. |
|
It's getting quite toasty and comfy in here.
The sky is raining and thundering, the fire is going, the fishtank lights are on, the book is the last installment of the Harry Potter heptalogy, the chair is leather, the Scotch is a 15 year old Laphroig and I'm in my jammies, with no music playing, the only sounds being that of the fire, the fan, and the weather.
This is exactly what I live for - a truly perfect day!

7. It'd be kinda nice to have that kind of day.... |
|
We have had an almost relentlessly sunny summer, and have been badly in need of rain. Last week we finally had several soaking storms, which has made the grass look a little better.
Lots of hot, humid weather this year. Although the weekend has been lovely, the heat and humidity will return next week.

10. It's been wonderful. I love rainy days. I sometimes think I should move to Seattle or Scotland |
|
and get away from the #(&(#& sun, and be in a place that has good, acceptable livable weather most days of the year.

5. Try a LARGE glass. Fewer trips to the kitchen. |

Or wherever you keep the booze.
