NOT the family, obviously. And not Troy McLure and Lionel Hutz, who died with their creator (sigh).

Me, I'm looking forward to seeing Moe the bartender on the big screen. Moe has an unspoken grudge against the entire world for no reason in particular, but he hates himself even more, which makes him oddly lovable for some reason.

Favorite Moe line: "You know what I blame this on the breakdown of? Society!"

You can't make this stuff up.

When I first encountered Gil I thought that he was amusing in a depressing sort of way, but that was all.

Then I finally got around to watching Glengarry Glen Ross, and I got the joke.

Loved his character ever since!

Surely they have something Phil recorded that didn't get used that could be worked into the script... Even just a "You Betcha" or something. Or would that be in poor taste?

'member?

He grabbed a high voltage wire and was fatally electrocuted. During the resulting funeral, Homer fell asleep and in a drowsy state demanded Marge change the TV channel, causing the attending mourners to laugh as the casket was lowered into the Earth.

Here is an image of his last few moments of life:
