Poll question: Wrestling fans, past & present: Who was the all-time best at cutting promos?
For the casual or non-fan: a "promo" is simply an on-camera interview where the wrestler calls out his/her opponent.

My own choices are the poll options. Choose your own if you like.

the one who carried an urn and wore too much makeup. He always cracked me up. what a nutcase.

2. Roddy Piper or SC Steve Austin
Piper because he was just crazy as shit when he did them. Austin because he called out EVERYBODY from the talent to the fans to the refs...everyone.

The Rock was usually pretty funny, but most of the big stars today (Cena, Batista, etc) seem a little too plastic.

6. I always loved Chrs Jericho's promos.
And the original DX had some hilarious promos as well. (Even the second incarnation was pretty good...like the time they waged war on the CNN building.)

7. I think The Rock had the best promos.
He could really entertain an audience. I'll tell you right now, whenever The Rock had a mic in his hand, I was listening.

I never felt like that when Ric Flair or Stone Cold had the mic.
