Noho is one of America's nicest college towns. So pretty. Will you be in an old home? Or new construction?

9. If would go broke so damn quick if I lived there.
When I had jury duty at in Northampton I think I spent over $300 in about two weeks. When I was at UMASS I spent a ridiculous amount of time and money there.

10. Welcome neighbor!
Your going to love it in Northampton, who wouldn't?

*avoid Fitzwilly's when in the mood for a bite - we ate there yesterday after not stopping in for awhile and it's gone downhill.

20. Why do they call it Northampton when it's in western Mass?
Shouldn't it be called Westhampton?

24. Nope.
When I hear Northampton, I think North Hampton, NH, a few towns over from where I grew up. One of the headaches of living in NH is dealing with Massholes who forget that there are a gaggle of NH communities with the same name as towns in Mass. Amherst, NH is a hell of a lot closer to Boston than Amherst, Mass. Then you throw Bedford, Merrimack, Newton, Brookline, Salem, etc into the mix, and it's nuts.
