NoelMN's first soccer practice SUCKED!

The letter they sent us about the first practice was WRONG. We showed up and it was some other team practicing tonight. They let Noel practice with them, but now I don't know when HIS team is supposed to meet.

Some kid told Noel he "sucks." Noel told the other kid that he's the one who sucks, because he's a jerk.

Jack flew off a merry-go-round at the playground area.

I couldn't even watch Noel play, because I had to keep Jack at the park since he wouldn't stop running onto the soccer field and trying to play with the big kids and steal the ball.

It was so freaking hot that my shirt was SOAKED, by the time we left.

Noel had an elitist meltdown after ascertaining that I had filled his water bottle with *gasp* tap water AND it wasn't cold enough.

Some unattended two-year-oldish kid followed me around the park, asking me to push her on the swing, the merry-go-round, etc, while I was trying to chase Jack. She was sweet, but I was busy enough trying to watch my own spawn.

I'm crabby. My husband's out of town. I'm having an appletini. Feel free to join me. :P

Thank you Lara for choosing to breed and continue on the next generation. That means that those of us who are completely devoid of any parental inclination no longer have to worry about who will empty our bedpans, turn us over, clean our bedsores, and rifle through our valuables while we're blissfully unaware of our surroundings in the social security-funded old folks home.
