Avg man will spend up to a year of his life waiting on his SO
As a guy, it sure feels like more than a year...

BLOKES spend almost a year of their lives WAITING for their other halves, research reveals.

And the average man will spend 22 weeks of that hanging around outside shop changing rooms while their partner tries on clothes, according to new research.

8. Yeah, we never have to wait around at the hardware store
:eyes:

Did they bother studying the opposite question? How long women wait for men?

9. Hell, I wonder how long the average woman spends waiting on HER SO...
I know it takes the guys around here a LOT longer to get ready to go somewhere than it takes me. And they use more hairspray than I do, too.

And they take longer in the changing room, too.

I hate shopping with the boys.

10. Bah!
I'm always the one waiting.

I'm always early or ready to go and I hate shopping.

Though I'm sure I'm an anomaly.

11. Yeah, well, what about that SO's waiting time?
Edited on Tue Jul-24-07 11:33 AM by Left Is Write
Yes, my husband often has to wait for me to finish getting ready to go somewhere or try on clothes or choose groceries or whatever.

But what about my waiting time? If he says he'll be out playing/recording guitar for two hours, it usually means three or four hours. If he says he'll be home from the golf course in half an hour, he really means a whole hour or more. If he says he'll be down to supper in five minutes, it's really ten minutes. Half an hour at Home Depot turns into an hour and a half, with most of my time spent cooling my heels leaning against the cart while he chooses between several virtually indistinguishable items.

Did they do any research on that ? :P
