Holy Crap. Cucumber Explosion!

Been getting cucumbers in my garden the last week of so, but today! 21! Wasn't able to go out there yesterday because of rain and today, way too many. 3 neighbors got over half the haul.

Only 3 tomatoes were ready and 3 zucchini (they are on their final leg).

Hot peppers are coming soon, long green beans are picked once every 3 days or so. And my tomato plants are freakin' out of control. I need an engineer to build me a super trellis or something next year.

Anyway, just a garden rant.

1. I know how you feel

If I force myself to make yet another meal featuring zucchini I think I will die. Or my family will mutiny or something. I don't have too many cucumbers yet. I know once the tomatoes and sweet peppers are ripe I'll be complaining about them and posting looking for recipes again.

My kids are making some more zucchini bread as I type. I've put it in tomato sauce, grilled it, baked it, did pretty much everything I can think of. I love it, but kind of glad those plants are nearly done. :D

I haven't had much luck with sweet peppers, so I've stopped trying to grow them. :(
