What goes through your mind when you look out your window and see this staring back at you?

edit: I've been to a wildlife park where emus freely roamed the picnic area scoping out unwary tourists eating hotdogs and other snacks. We were doing just that when an emu came up behind one of my ex-husband's nephews, snaked his head onto the picnic table and nabbed an entire hot dog! I think that emu had a lot of practice!

4. I once encountered an emu jogging down the center line of Highway 95, between Elgin and Bastrop.
No idea why he was there, but I was driving north, and thought "Well dog strike me dead if that doesn't look like an emu!" And I wasn't striken, and the darned thing passed about two feet from my car, barely sparing me a glance.

I knew of no emu ranches anywhere nearby, either. Weirdest damned thing...

And maybe a nose job too. Look at that beak."
