Do you ever get sick of hearing about some dumbass study?

Or dumbass poll?

I do.

Some of you are undoubtedly too young to remember the days when you didn't EVER read/hear about studies, and polls only when an election was in the near future.

Now, every day you hear of some study (usually stating the obvious), even on your local goofy radio station.

Oh, those golden yesterdays, when we didn't hear this crap all the time... :sigh:

Those golden yesterdays never existed!

But a recent poll contradicted the study.

3. I get annoyed by all of the dumbass studies and polls reported by people who haven't a clue
that they're dumbass "studies", as opposed to studies conducted using the generally accepted methodologies which strive for minimized unknown bias and reports of findings in context.

4. Right, Gormy.

We never hear the actual questions the people were asked, and of course how a question is worded can influence the way people answer it.
