3. When my kids were teenagers, I realized something

When I was growing up, all I ever seemed to hear from my dad was, "Get off the damn phone!", "Turn that stinking music down!" and "What are you smoking in there?"

Then when my kids were teenagers, I realized all I ever heard from them was, "Mom, would you get off the phone!", "Turn that stinking music down!" and "What are you smoking in there?" :P

5. I make it a point

to not tell my kids to turn down the music. At least not unless I can feel the bass in my butt. I do tell them to get off the phone, though. I'm afraid that one day I'm going to have to have it surgically removed from the sides of their li'l heads.
