I am so brain dead.
I realized at 8:00 last night that I'd completely forgotten to send Jack to preschool.
Not only did I oversleep and forget, that morning, I didn't even think about it until it was his bedtime. It just didn't even occur to me that it was a school day.

:banghead:

I'm scared to think what I'll be like when I'm actually getting old...

1. My dear Lara!
I think that you're oversubscribed, sweetie....

Too much going on in your life...

And when your children grow up and leave home, things get a lot simpler, believe me!

You're OK, you really are...

3. While you were remembering
did you trip over anything?

4. No. I just kind of stood there and stared.
Then I told my husband, "it's Tuesday," to which he unimpressively responded, "yep. It is,"
and I said, "SHIT! I forgot to send Jack to school!"

That was how it went down.

5. I may try this in the Grown-Up World
"Why weren't you at work yesterday?"

"I forgot."

6. NoelMN told me I "can probably get arrested"
for not sending Jack to school.
He was serious.

and I wonder why he seems so generally well-behaved...
It's not my good parenting! It's his fear o' the law!
