1995-1998 was such a great fucking time for rock music, even mainstream rock music. I don't think people realize how good we had it back then; you could actually hear songs of this caliber ON THE RADIO!

8. I've always loved that song.

I don't have that CD (although I burned that song onto a mix CD) but I do have their latest, downloadable for free from their website (harveydanger.com), which is actually very good despite my slight misgivings about trying it out. None of the songs sound anything like "Flagpole Sitta" though, which is either a good or bad thing depending on your point of view. For me, it's good, although I love that song, but I wouldn't want a band to sound exactly the same as they did ten years ago.

11. I really like that CD

I picked it up at a used record store because of that song. I was a little wary because I didn't know if I'd like the rest of their material as much but I do. It doesn't all sound the same but it generally has great hooks and cleverness.

Besides, they named the CD after a Shelly Winters line in an old Paul Newman movie.
