Best TV Leader

Most of these are SF captains but my intent was to include any leader in a TV show with a clear authority hierarchy. I had to leave off a couple Trek captains to fit some non-scifi.

I didn't realize there was an authoritative chain of command on the island. What'd they form a government or something?

5. About Ben

Ben is the leader of The Others, the enigmatic and not too friendly people who were already on the island when the Oceanic flight 815 crashed on the beach.

Truth be told, Ben isn't a great leader. He's overly secretive, manipulative, and more than a little flaky. The survivors of flight 815 don't fare much better. The "leader", Jack Sheppard, is a whiney Los Angeles spinal surgeon with a knack of making dumb decisions and making every disagreement personal.
