Radio Lady Discusses: Ever heard of a dog breed called the Alaskan Klee Kai?

Supposedly, there are only 3,000 dogs of this breed in the WORLD.

There are three sizes. Registered by the U.K.C.

3. Tsk, tsk -- I kind of like the sweaters and we're just using the people to show off the dogs!

Linda S. Spurlin started the breed.

The Dream

When pedigrees and pooper scoopers are all pushed aside, what you have left in a breeding program is not much more than the dream. A dream is all I had when I started trying to reproduce one small dog that turned heads everywhere she went. Some dreams are hard to hang on to. One day you just wake up and they are gone. Other dreams become so ingrained in you that you eat, sleep, and drink in the future reality of them. This is the way I became in my dream of recreating one little miniature husky. I never doubted that it could be done, the only question was 'how'?

8. I love those breeds, but I can't commit to a big dog. Here is my fantasy Siberian Husky:

9. They're no that big always...
My Alaskan is rather medium sized, and my Siberian is a rather petite girl. And they are the most loveable dogs I've ever had. :)

11. I'm trying to convince myself to get a short haired, medium or small dog.

Not a toy.

We've had two blonde Cocker Spaniels during our marriage. I met a woman who wanted to give me a terrier mix bitch that they found a year ago, but her 25-year-old daughter wouldn't agree to let the animal go. I'm supposed to call her later in the summer.

I used to raise and train Boston Terriers when I was a teenager. They snore, and I don't need that. I have a husband who snores!
