One week away from tummy tuck surgery and my throat hurts...really, really bad. Pleeeease dog, don't let me be getting sick. Please! Healing vibes, love, light, all that shit...can you send some of that this way, please?!?

Is it absolutely and truly necessary?

I have a scar from surgery in 1987 that never healed properly. (I hope that doesn't happen to you.)
It causes me much distress. (Not on my tummy.) Don't think I will ever get up the nerve to do any more surgery unless it is 100% necessary.

5. For my sanity, yes it's necessary...

I lost 200 pounds and I have a lot of excess skin. Because of it, I'm constantly dealing with rashes, infections and all kinds of other really nasty stuff. I consider it more of reconstructive surgery instead of cosmetic surgery.

6. I have seen TV shows with people who lose a great deal of weight.

So it's really more than a "tummy tuck" -- it's removing literally yards of flesh stretched by extra weight.
