2. Just ditch all your relatives and friends - you'll be fine
And as a precaution, put those pets on a strict diet - nothing was said about fat, furry friends.

4. "Good-bye, my fat friend, " is what I've been saying to the mirror since May 2007.

I've actually lost 12 pounds since our vacation to Europe.

My 84-year-old aunt has challenged me to get back to my high school weight as she did, years ago.

We'll be visiting her in early August in San Francisco.

6. Oh, most certainly! We must protect the sanctity of "beauty"!
You need to get away from those overweight friends, and their "choice of lifestyle." The sanctity of the rail-thin, vacuous sex kitten MUST be upheld at all costs. I mean, think what could happen - The Paris Hilton's of the world could disappear from our popular culture - my God, the horror! The horror!.

11. Fat follows the Laws of Thermodynamics...
It can neither be created nor destroyed... Only redistributed.

Sorry, sweetie, that's physics. :)

15. When I saw that headline in the Chicago Tribune, the first thing I said was "Oh great
Now every chubby girl in every junior high and high school is going to be shunned even worse because the popular girls don't want to 'catch it' from her."

18. Yeah, just give them extra ammunition to be total bitches.
High school was hell for me, but I feel even sorrier for tweens/teens today. The pressure has got to me overwhelming. And this stupid fucking "news" stories don't make it any easier.
