I just did something I said I wasn't going to do.
I washed the car.

Well, "washed" meaning I took a wet towel and wiped it down, thereby removing most of the dirt.

Good times.

1. What a co inky dink
I'm "washing" my car right now.

"washing" meaning it's getting rained on, and so hopefully most of the grime will run off.

4. Do you know how bad that is for your car?
How can you expect all the dirt to hold the parts together if you wash it off?

6. The experiment in pedogenesis is over.

On the bright side, I learned that road dust, bird shit, and tree sap really accumulate quickly. :D

7. How dirty was it?
I mean, was it so dirty that after cleaning it you would expect to get better mileage without all that dirt to lug around? :P

9. It was a lovely shade of tan.
Not unlike your living room. :P

(According to the registration, however, it was dark blue. :P )

8. And about 36 hours after I "washed" the car
there was a really heavy ash fall (!) followed by a good solid coastal mist and my car is now covered in pasted-on white flakes. Good times.
