Ginny's still at the hospital, and she'll probably be there through Tuesday, but she's starting to regain some feeling in one of her legs, which is an encouraging sign. More tests coming, though.

49. Update on ginbarn - SHE'S HOME!

It turns out that a nastly little virus infected her spinal fluid during a recent sinus infection, and that just set off a whole lot of pain for ginbarn. The resulting paralysis caused her to fall repeatedly, resulting in a torn rotator cuff and a broken ankle. They ran every test under the sun on my poor wife short of a nerve biopsy, and of course it had to be something that doctors can't cure.

The good news, however, is that ginbarn is regaining feeling in her legs and feet. She'll have to walk with the aid of a walker for a while, but she's making some great progress.

But my sweetie's home! Her kitty and birdy have missed her something fierce. Me, too...
