As a man who has a thing for Tomboys - I find the song "Georgie Girl" offensive |
|
Who the fuck do the seekers think they are? Asking some nice, down to earth, plain Jane type girl to put on makeup and start acting like ALL the other girls? Fuckers.

The original song and file "Georgy Girl" is FORTY fucking years old, the phrase "product of it's time" springs to kind. And I find people who get offended by minor stuff like this offensive.

speaking as a "tomboy" of the techgeek persuasion rather than the athletic one.
The message of the song is get yourself all dolled up to please other people (i.e. so men will notice you.) Ugh. That just makes me squirm.
