...for 20 years. Hell is what you make of it.

On edit: My mother suffers from severe chronic clinical depression, an anxiety disorder, agoraphobia and somatization disorder. She is now 92, my father has been dead 11 1/2 years. Between them, I have probably been to the ER probably 30 - 40 times -- half the time without my sibling or any other family member there. I have taken many days off work on their behalf and taken care of them on a daily basis for that length of time -- while holding down a full-time job.

I have been there, and still am.

And on re-edit: have had exactly two vacations in 10 years.
