Moms, a question.
So, I was at the folks house and snooping around my old closet. I found a bunch of condoms that I guess I had hidden in different parts of my room, and I guess when my mom cleaned out my room after I moved out, she found them, and put them all in this little box for me.

As a mom, if you found stockpiles of condoms around your son's room... what would you think?

1. That at some point he'd really hoped he'd be having sex...
lots of sex....

and it didn't happen x(

I'd also just throw them away

4. Haha, yeah...good call. Perhaps the moms who find NO condoms should worry more?
Then again, "the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence".

2. How old were you when you left them about your room?
How old when you think she found them?

3. I'd be gravely concerned.
Of course that has something to do with my son being six.

Moms have amazing denial powers. Those were water balloons. You were never getting any under their roof. In fact, you're still a virgin, and you'll continue to be one in parts of your mother's mind even if you get married and have seven kids who all look exactly like you.

Moms are like that.

6. Ha Ha
We just cleaned out both of my son's old rooms for the move. If I had found that I would have laughed really hard and thought that either he was not as lucky as he had hoped or if he was at least he was safe. I would have done exactly what your mother did, put them in a nice little box for him. This just cracks me up.

7. I would be glad that he was smart enough to have them close.
But I'd be wondering why on earth he felt the need to secret them into his bedroom, as they'd be readily available in the nearest bathroom.

8. My son is 15 and I figure the day I find them in his room
isn't too far off.

I would be relieved that he is using protection.

9. Now? I'd be a little worried.
A few years from now? I'd be glad he was taking precautions to protect himself.

10. A scientific experiment
He must be testing the durability of condoms...he's way too young to be using them for real, and then he is of the age thinks girls are icky and gross.

But then, I'm the one who sent my 17 year old grandson 112 condoms after his girlfriend had an abortion. (12 glow in the dark and 100 regular)

14. Grateful
that he was at least planning ahead. Wouldn't have wanted him to go into that first sexual experience unprepared.

But before you get too excited about finding your old stash. Check the expiration date.

15. I would think that my son was responsible enough to have safe sex.
And I wouldn't care to know any more than that.
