I just took BabyMidlo and five friends to see Hairspray.

I thought it was one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in years. (This is predicated by the disclaimer that I absolutely ADORE muscicals)

I thought it was wonderful. The cast was fantastic. The music, the dancing.

Just fabulous.

And, the underlying message wasn't lost on a bunch of 11 year olds. Maybe there is hope for this country.

4. Well, we went to the 4PM show and the parking lot was packed.

BabyMidlo kept saying as we were waltzing through the popcorn line..."These people aren't all here to see Hairspray"..

We had to sit in the second row from the screen. I'm seeing the chiro on Monday.

It was fantastic. If your kids like dancing, music, et al, they will adore this.

Plus, it was darned funny.

Currently, we're recuperating from our bridal shower. It was fun. Granny was shockingly quiet. All she did was glare disapprovingly. Yesterday was quite exciting, though.
