14. It's my favorite sandwich. Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal bread,
3 slices of American cheese and fried very slowly in lots of butter.

Think I'll make one now----you tempted me with your post.

16. Please define grilled cheese.
There are those who call Kraft processed cheese food product on Wonder bread "grilled cheese"

They are less than the dust beneath my chariot wheels.

A good light rye bread, possibly with caraway seeds (a matter of taste), a thin slice of medium old cheddar, a thin slice of Spanish onion (there are those who prefer Vidalia; dilletantes I call them) followed by a second thin layer of cheese.

Accompanied by a thin tomato soup seasoned to taste with black pepper and your bevvie of choice (wobbly pop works well) it a repast fit for Valhalla.

IMO.

22. Have you tried...
grilled cheese with either provolone or muenster? Or both, if you're feeling inclined.

I never make grilled cheese with those yellow plastic slices anymore. And I've gotten the timing down to a science--I never burn the bread.

I think I may have this for lunch. I like to dip mine in ketchup or salsa.
