3. Gouda
I remember hearing a Neil Diamond tribute band around here several years ago. They were very good. The guy had his voice down quite well.

4. This band was called "Hot August Night"
I was closing my eyes and he really did have Neil's voice.

The hot pink sequined shirt was a fabulous touch.

I am officially old.

5. No. old would be getting your groove on to Guy Lombardo's ghost band
or Lawrence Welk's. At least that's what I keep telling myself. :P

9. I need to introduce you to my aunt.
 She's 70 now, and she's been a Neil Diamond groupie for years. She and some of her friends camped out for Neil Diamond tickets several times in the late 80s and 90s, and she'd do it again in a heartbeat.

You groupies are all alike....:P

10. Call me cheap
But I prefer seeing some tribute bands over my old favorites. Thought about going to see Fleetwood Mac a few years ago until I found out that two tickets in the "cheap seats" were going to be $120 even before the service fee.

11. Cool. I'd go see that.
My mom loved ND, so I grew up listening to his stuff.
