1. It depends on what's changing. Broad social and political change for the better, I welcome. But as a creature of habit, if my personal environment or routine is changed, I resist fairly strongly.
2. I'm a pretty adventurous eater. I'm willing to try new things. Last May when my wife and I were on our Alaskan cruise, I tried escargot for the first time, and liked them! :9
3. Selsen Blue. No dandruff on me, baby! B-)
4. Key Lime Pie. I'm not saying I'd kill for it, but to be safe, don't stand between me and a Key Lime Pie, okay? ;-)
Good to see you, lioness!

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it? Thats a tough one. Some things I have a hard time changing. Usually the more important the more resistant I am, which is not always the smart way to be.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them? Yes, I love trying new foods.
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use? Whatever is in the shower. My wife has ~10 different shampoos and conditioners, I grab whats closest
4. Whats your favorite dessert? Flan/Creme Caramel

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it? I'm somewhat resistant to change, but I pretty much end up accepting it.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them? I'm a picky eater. I do like a lot of different types of food, but there are some things I won't eat, regardless of how they're prepared.
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use? Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner.
4. Whats your favorite dessert? Creme brulee!

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it?
I embrace change. I love adventure, I love new things, new jobs, new places. I fear a rut more than I do change.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them?
I'm adventurous in food, too. I'll try anything once! (oh and by the way, someone posted a recipe for a cilantro chicken dish that they said was from you - I made it last week and it was yummy! :9 So thanks)
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use?
Biolage
4. Whats your favorite dessert?
cheesecake but I try not to have it too often

7. Monday midafternoon answers. |
|
1. I used to welcome change. Now I resist. Changes are almost always painful, so I'd really like to settle into a less painful routine.
2. Yes. As long as the food is vegan I'll eat food from any country or cuisine.
3. I don't have brand-loyalty.
4. Something with Chocolate. :9

1. I have no choice but to welcome it...in the last 3 years, I've gotten divorced, moved twice (from my "marital home" to my own place, then from there in with my now-SO), become a stepmother-but-for-the-marriage-license, quit my perfectly good job and gone back to school at 30 in a completely unrelated field.
2. I'll try just about anything once, and there's very little I don't like if it's done well. I cook a lot of varied items. That said, at a few restaurants I keep ordering the same things over and over.
3. Suave. I'm cheap.
4. Hard to say. It's very circumstantial. My favorite desserts that I have made include chocolate cupcakes (basic but pleasing), and an apple-pear-walnut-date rustic tart with creme brulee ice cream and pumpkin seed brittle (Thanksgiving last year). My favorite to eat elsewhere usually involve nutella and bananas (because it is dangerous for me to have nutella in the house) or some form of chocolate, custard or both.
And ditto  to Monkeyfunk.

1. Resistant, no -- but cautious. I welcome change because the alternative is boredom, but I don't change just to break the boredom. The change needs to hold some promise of being better than what I currently experience. 2. Most would say I'm an adventurous eater, but I'm no Tony Bourdain. 3. Whatever is on sale. 4. Fresh fruit with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

"1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it?" Well, as long as it isn't all pennies, I'm okay with getting change. Seriously, change that serves a positive purpose is good and I'm all for it. Change just because we can usually does not turn out very well.
"2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them?" I like what I like and have particular reason to go beyond it. Life is uncertain and I don't want uncertainty in my food.
"3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use?" Head and Shoulder shampoo. What the hell is conditioner? Is that like cream rinse?
"4. Whats your favorite dessert?" Ice cream. Duh.

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it?
I welcome positive changes, and intensely fear negative ones.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them?
I am not an adventurous eater by any means, but I'm always willing to try new dishes prepared with ingredients that I am at least intellectually familiar with. For example, I've never had eggplant before, but I'd be willing to try it if someone else made it.
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use?
Right now, Pert Plus because it was cheap. Ideally, I like Biolage Fortifying.
4. Whats your favorite dessert?
Tie between good thick New York-style cheesecake, and southern Pecan pie with ice cream.

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it? -- Don't like it, but in some cases it can be for the better. Usually, it's like pulling teeth with me.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? Or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them? --I enjoy trying new things. There are some Asian type things I wouldn't consider (like insects in various forms), but I check things out within reason (have to be careful with an immune deficiency)
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use? -- Loves me some Redken All Soft. It smells like 'nannas!
4. Whats your favorite dessert? -- Bread pudding with some sort of interesting sauce (usually with booze!) :9

24. Here are my replies to your inquiry: |
|
1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it?
Life has been changing a lot since I turned 30, and 41 now. I am resistant to it only because it has been fucked up time and again. Some change I want and love, others I don't. My wife's Parkinson's is changing, getting worse. That is a change we want to resist, but cannot.
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them? Adventurous! Love to try new things.
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use? Whatever the wife has in the shower I use, too little hair to even worry about it.
4. Whats your favorite dessert? My wife  and cheesecake.

1. Are you resistant to change or do you welcome it?
In some aspects of life I like change not in others. I'm pretty set in my daily routine but I like to try new things when I go on vacation or day trips etc..
2. Are you an adventurous eater? or do you have a few items you like, and you stick to them?
My everyday diet is pretty set, but I love to try new things when opportunity arises. And I've learned to taste first and ask questions later. :)
3. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use?
Um...whatever is in the shower...I suppose I'll have to start thinking about that now that I'll be doing my own shopping for that stuff.
4. Whats your favorite dessert?
Honestly fresh fruit or melon, maybe with some sweetened yogurt or honey.
For a fattening, baked kind of thing I like something like a dense chewy cookie or brownie that I can dip in strong coffee
