How much should I expect to pay for a seat belt violation in NY State? The stupid ticket doesn't even list the fine. I have to mail it in and wait for the fine. How very efficient, NY!

What really burns me up is that the cop who busted me for not wearing my seat belt was in shouting distance when he saw me pull out of the parking lot without my belt on. Instead of just telling me to put my belt on, he pulls me over and fines me. Real nice.
And, I do not live in NY.
